Position Overview:
The Cybersecurity Operations team is responsible for implementing and managing the necessary measures to protect Entergy's vital systems and assets, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. This role focuses on the administration and functionality of Entergy's OT Tripwire platform, which is essential for monitoring configuration baselines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the management and operation of Entergy's OT Tripwire and IP360 platforms for configuration monitoring.
- Develop and maintain security policies.
- Conduct asset tagging and management.
- Configure scanning parameters and maintain backend databases.
- Manage agent updates and triage issues.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices in cybersecurity.
- Monitor systems for adherence to compliance standards and escalate non-compliance issues.
- Participate in disaster recovery planning and testing.
- Engage in departmental initiatives such as vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
- Contribute to audit preparations and participate in audit interviews.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation.
- Support various departmental projects, including hardware and software upgrades.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Preferred certifications include CISSP, CISA, or CRISC.
Experience:
- 8+ years of experience in Cybersecurity, particularly in Configuration Monitoring and Risk Management.
- Hands-on expertise with Tripwire and familiarity with other configuration monitoring tools.
Skills:
- Strong communication and analytical skills.
- Expertise in cybersecurity principles and regulatory compliance.
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell or Python is a plus.
