The Maintenance Group Leader plays a crucial role in overseeing the maintenance team, ensuring effective management and execution of maintenance projects. This position is accountable for the development, implementation, and management of maintenance policies and procedures aimed at enhancing operational efficiency, minimizing waste, and preventing delays. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of both electrical and mechanical systems to effectively test, diagnose, maintain, and repair operational machinery and control systems within the facility. The individual must possess extensive knowledge across various trades and perform a diverse range of maintenance tasks on sophisticated electronic equipment and machinery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct inspections and assessments of equipment to ensure optimal operating conditions, making necessary adjustments and maintaining logs of test results.
  • Collaborate with external contractors for troubleshooting and maintenance procedures.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in CNC machining programming and operations.
  • Act promptly to troubleshoot machinery issues to restore production efficiency.

Education:

  • A degree in a technical field is advantageous but not mandatory.

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Broad understanding of control systems and mechanisms.

  • Experience with remote IO design and robot programming.
  • Knowledge of AC/DC drive motor operations.
