Yorktel is currently on the lookout for an Audio Visual Support Specialist who will be stationed at a client site, overseeing all audio-visual conference technologies to ensure optimal functionality.

This role involves direct interaction with clients to guarantee a satisfying collaboration experience.

Key Responsibilities:
Regularly engage with both internal and external resources to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.

Provide recommendations to internal teams and clients regarding any concerns or issues, ensuring prompt resolution of problems while collaborating closely with assigned team members.

Regular planning is essential to address incoming client inquiries.
Must communicate effectively to answer complex questions and respond to detailed requests.

Safeguard all internal and external confidential information, exercising discretion and judgment in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Act as a service advocate to promote the use of video collaboration rooms and systems.
Assist with video bookings and connections.
Adhere to all procedures and policies set forth by both the client and Yorktel.
Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and run books related to job functions.
Conduct scheduled preventative maintenance on conference room A/V technologies.
Perform routine checks on all conference spaces.

Coordinate with users and configure Video Teleconferencing (VTC) systems to establish connections with remote participants, ensuring optimal audio, visual, content sharing, and recording capabilities.

Collaborate with the onsite team to develop and maintain user documentation and quick reference guides (QRG) for A/V technology usage.

Provide client training on collaboration technology.
Troubleshoot issues in conference spaces and related technologies.
Perform basic repairs, including but not limited to:
Standard connector and terminations.
Simple cable replacements (non-conduit run).
Projector bulb replacements.
Basic equipment replacements.
Monitor replacements (may require additional resources depending on size).
Escalate facility and other non-related issues to the client and/or their designated providers.
Provide hands-on support as necessary.
Escalate technical issues to the client and/or their designated providers.
Own incidents and facilitate their resolution.
Work with onsite team members to train new resources and prepare for backfill resources.
Manage and track equipment inventory, ensuring the accuracy of Yorktel's Configuration Management Database (CMDB).
Serve as the primary contact for video and audio conferencing support, delivering technical and concierge assistance as required.

Education & Experience:
5+ years of experience in supporting, troubleshooting, and installing video conferencing and audio/visual technologies, including Zoom, Webex, Google Meets, and Blue Jeans meetings.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
Familiarity with Cisco, Poly, and other SIP/H323 video conferencing endpoints.
Experience with Microsoft Teams and Microsoft Teams Room devices.
Knowledge of Zoom Rooms and the Zoom Administrative Portal.
Experience with conference room controls and A/V equipment (Crestron, Extron, etc.).
Proficiency in room reservation platforms.
Experience with digital signage solutions.
Ability to provide VIP-level white glove services for meetings, training, and events.
Capability to interact professionally and confidently with senior executives.

Additional Requirements:
May require occasional lifting (up to 25 lbs.).
Requires extensive sitting, standing, and walking.
Some travel may be necessary, requiring multi-night stays within and occasionally outside the local work area.
Valid driver's license.
Must be willing to undergo background checks and drug tests as required by current or future contracts.
