Job Description

VNS Health is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Education Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and implementing clinical education programs that foster high-quality care and promote evidence-based practice.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Program Development: Design and deliver clinical education programs that meet the strategic objectives of our organization.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with education staff across the enterprise to develop an annual training calendar and ensure a coordinated approach to ongoing programs.
  • Quality Improvement: Ensure clinical education programs are aligned with the CMS Triple Aim framework and address patient-centered needs.
  • Staff Development: Manage the implementation of clinical staff development programs, including orientation, in-services, training, and other learning activities.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all clinical education programs are in accordance with standards of nursing and social work practice, state and federal regulations, and VNS Health policies and procedures.
  • Performance Evaluation: Review program-specific educational program outcomes and program evaluations to determine areas for improvement and make recommendations for change.
  • Training and Development: Train and/or oversee the training of new and current staff in VNS Health/program philosophy, policy, standards, procedures, documentation, models for service delivery, and efficient, productive, cost-effective work processes.
  • Performance Management: Monitor and evaluate the performance of newly hired staff and staff referred on for remedial or additional training.
Requirements:
  • Education: Master's Degree in Nursing or a related field required.
  • Experience: Minimum four years' experience in a community-based or long-term home health setting, including at least two years with a primary focus on education and training.
  • Skills: Effective oral and written communication, presentation, analytical, coaching, and organizational skills required.
