Exciting Opportunity for a Senior Mechanical Engineer

Imperium Global, a rapidly growing designer, manufacturer, and installer of mission-critical components, is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to play a pivotal role in helping the company become the largest Mission Critical Solutions Provider in the States.

The company has doubled in size over the past 12 months and possesses a unique business model of in-house design, manufacturing, and installation that separates them from their competition, creating a distinctive and stimulating work environment for its employees.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and Development: Create detailed designs for mechanical structures, supports, BUS work, electrical controls, metering, and communications to meet precise customer requirements.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Generate comprehensive parts lists, metal drawings, BUS drawings, assembly drawings, BOMs, and Operation & Maintenance Manuals efficiently and accurately.
  • Collaboration and Coordination: Work closely with vendors, production teams, and other engineers to ensure that your designs are manufacturable, meet client specifications, and comply with functional and regulatory requirements.
  • Quality and Process Improvement: Follow and refine standard design processes and best practices to enhance quality and efficiency in engineering design.
Qualifications:
  • Experience: 5-7 years of experience in the design of electrical switchgear and related systems.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D), AutoCAD Mechanical, and Autodesk Inventor (3D) is required.
  • Education: A 4-year Bachelor's degree in engineering is preferred.
