Senior Mechanical Engineer Opportunity

Gable Search Group is seeking a highly experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead capital equipment projects at a leading international manufacturer in Nashville, TN.

This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned Mechanical Engineer to manage large-scale investment projects in a growing manufacturing operation. The successful candidate will have the chance to work on diverse technical challenges and enjoy long-term career stability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead capital equipment projects to upgrade the entire plant, including boilers, cranes, and furnaces.
  • Manage huge investment projects within a growing manufacturing operation.
  • Develop and implement commercial projects experience.
  • Read and interpret detailed schematics, drawings, and specifications for equipment and utilities.
  • Experience with plant maintenance systems, such as boilers, power distribution, and heavy lifting cranes, in a heavy industrial environment.
  • Efficient and effective troubleshooting skills, including root cause analysis training.
  • Demonstrated style of participative management in problem solving, project implementation, and continuous improvement objectives.
  • Experience as plant/facility maintenance support, work order, and maintenance systems is beneficial.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
  • 15 – 20 years of engineering experience is required.
  • Demonstrated commercial projects experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret detailed schematics, drawings, and specifications for equipment and utilities.
  • Experience with plant maintenance systems, such as boilers, power distribution, and heavy lifting cranes, in a heavy industrial environment.
  • Efficient and effective troubleshooting skills, including root cause analysis training.
  • Demonstrated style of participative management in problem solving, project implementation, and continuous improvement objectives.
  • Experience as plant/facility maintenance support, work order, and maintenance systems is beneficial.

Compensation: $100K to $130K base salary + up to 15% in annual bonuses.
