About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Artificial Intelligence Engineer to join our team at Booz Allen Hamilton. As an AI/ML Engineer, you will play a critical role in advancing our defense clients' capabilities through the innovative application of AI/ML technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and deploy sophisticated AI models tailored to address the unique challenges of the defense sector.
  • Engage in data management, algorithm development, and collaborative efforts with interdisciplinary teams to ensure the seamless integration of AI/ML solutions into defense systems.
  • Develop software in classified environments and containerize the software developed.
  • Work with big data technologies such as Hadoop or Spark, and cloud computing platforms such as AWS or Azure.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy AI/ML solutions.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality AI/ML models and algorithms.
  • Conduct research and development of new AI/ML techniques and technologies.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI/ML and apply this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement in our solutions.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience with developing in Python.
  • 5+ years of experience with scripting in Bash or Python.
  • Experience in a DoD, Intelligence, or Aerospace environment.
  • Experience with basic and applied research, and applying novel solutions to DoD problems.
  • Experience developing software in classified environments, and containerizing the software you have developed.
  • Experience with Natural Language Processing (NLP), NLP specific algorithms, and the full ML lifecycle, including use case assessment and data cleaning, through final delivery to the client.
  • Experience with AI frameworks and libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn.
  • Knowledge of ML algorithms, neural networks, and deep learning techniques.
  • TS/SCI clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree in a CS, AI, ML, or Data Science field.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop or Spark, and cloud computing platforms such as AWS or Azure.
  • Experience with productization of your prototypes.
  • Experience with Authority to Operate (ATO) processes for DoD operations.
  • Experience using or migrating CI/CD pipeline solutions or tools, including GitLab.
  • Experience with UCI, Link16, or VMF messages.
  • Knowledge of system engineering methodologies.
  • Knowledge of system integrations and interoperability.
