Manufacturing Quality Assurance Specialist

Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal management systems (IMS) to maintain a high level of quality and reliability in products.
- Lead the implementation of Failure Analysis to identify root causes and implement corrective measures, resulting in improved customer satisfaction and product quality.
- Conduct in-depth analytical investigations of system or component level problems affecting reliability, quality, and performance, utilizing statistical analysis, 8-Step analysis, and other established methods.
- Provide technical support to the factory to ensure Thermo Fisher Scientific's products meet robustness, quality, and reliability standards.
- Collaborate with the supply chain to analyze parts for reliability and supplier technical quality issues, ensuring seamless product delivery.
- Support Field Service and Global Technical Support with product issues, developing action plans to address customer on-site problems.
- Track and report changes, communicating results to stakeholders up to the DLT level.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technical field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 4+ years of relevant experience in a high-tech industry manufacturing environment.
- Ability to detail engineering reports using engineering and statistical software, as well as common Microsoft Office and Acrobat applications.
- Proven track record of planning and resolving issues involving multi-functional, multi-cultural groups and sites without damaging relationships.
- Ability to obtain a valid passport and travel regionally and internationally as needed.
- Fluency in English and local language (verbal and written) with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
