Job Description

Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a highly skilled Staff Quality Engineer Operations to join our team. As a key member of our manufacturing operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and conduct Failure Analysis to identify root causes and implement corrective measures.
  • Conduct detailed analytical analysis of system or component level problems using statistical analysis and other established methods.
  • Provide technical support to the factory to ensure shipping products with robustness, quality, and reliability.
  • Review and support the supply chain with engineering expertise, analyzing parts for reliability and supplier technical quality issues.
  • Support Field Service/GTS with product issues, developing action plans to address customers' on-site issues.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor/Master degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years relevant experience in quality assurance, reliability engineering, or a related field.
  • Ability to detail engineering reports using engineering and statistical software, as well as common Microsoft Office and Acrobat applications.
  • Proven track record of planning and resolving issues involving multi-functional, multi-cultural groups and sites.
  • Ability to obtain a valid passport and travel regionally and internationally as needed.
