Branch Operations Supervisor

The Branch Operations Supervisor plays a crucial role in ensuring operational efficiency within the organization.
This position is accountable for promoting Safety, providing training, and mentoring Branch Operations Leaders (BOLs) and Branch Managers (BMs). The Supervisor will implement and evaluate Operational Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Standard Operating Procedures.
Success in this role is achieved through the execution of both immediate and strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing operational excellence in safety, quality, delivery, cost management, and inventory oversight.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:- Support regional teams in Health, Safety, and Environmental compliance, ensuring adherence to all company policies.
- Enhance employee health and safety outcomes by fostering a safer work environment through training, observations, and regular assessments.
- Ensure the implementation of standard operating procedures, backed by comprehensive training and communication strategies.
- Collaborate with Branch Operation Leaders, Regional Managers, and corporate departments to execute key strategic initiatives by enforcing Standard Work and adherence to Operational KPIs.
- Drive branch leadership to optimize fleet and labor utilization to meet customer needs, aligning with Operations Directors on critical operational priorities.
- Conduct site visits to branch locations, review operational KPIs, and provide constructive feedback to branch leadership and management.
- Utilize Capacity Planning Tools and data to prepare branches for growth in Unit on Rent (UOR).
- Monitor and evaluate branch Value Added Products and Services (VAPS) inventory management to ensure accuracy and process improvements.
- Train and oversee service employees on current Standard Work Instructions, ensuring proper staffing and implementation of new processes.
- Ensure that the necessary systems and technical support are in place for safe, timely, cost-effective, high-quality, and efficient revenue activities.
- Conduct regular assessments of branch operations, evaluate performance, and lead training and development initiatives using the Branch Operations Assessment.
- Utilize the Net Promoter Score (NPS) system for timely communication and resolution of internal issues.
- Ensure timely deliveries and returns while driving high levels of product quality.
- Extensive travel is required, exceeding 75%.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:A Technical Bachelor's Degree is preferred. Candidates should possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in the mobile, modular, or construction industry, including roles in general building, remodeling, and supervision.
Additionally, 5+ years of experience leading operations teams in manufacturing settings is essential, along with experience in budget management and strategic business planning.
- Proven ability to work in high-profile roles with frequent interaction across various departments and executive leadership.
- Experience in leading continuous improvement initiatives and managing multiple projects effectively.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, and collaborative environment.
- Strong customer presentation and communication skills are required.
- Familiarity with leasing businesses or logistics, transportation, or construction-related industries is a plus.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, with experience in MS Project and SAP being advantageous.
- Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time.
