Job Overview

POSITION TITLE: OMS Quality Assurance Supervisor

LOCATION: Corporate Office

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: A bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited institution is required. Candidates should possess a minimum of five years of experience in the utility sector, particularly in managing and delivering enterprise solutions such as Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and Outage Management Systems (OMS). A solid understanding of electrical system principles, including circuit configuration and the operation of protective devices, is essential. Strong troubleshooting abilities are necessary to effectively analyze data and develop actionable solutions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Maintain the accuracy of the OMS model to ensure reliable outage predictions and effective execution of switching operations.
  2. Conduct necessary functions for problem resolution and ongoing maintenance of the Outage Management System.
  3. Document, prioritize, and communicate with the Information Systems Department and GIS QA/QC Supervisor regarding OMS-related issues, upgrades, training, and enhancements.
  4. Oversee all operational matters related to OMS and provide round-the-clock support to Systems Control as required.
