Nurse Residency Program at Northern Arizona Healthcare

Northern Arizona Healthcare is seeking highly motivated and engaged Nurse Residents to join our dynamic nursing team at the Verde Valley Medical Center location.
Responsibilities- Provide and supervise direct and indirect total nursing care responsibilities to identified age-specific groups.
- Utilize the nursing process (assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating) in achieving the goals of the nursing department.
- Participate in a year-long nurse resident program, under the direct supervision of a preceptor, with eventual transition to independent practice after successful training program completion.
- Arizona RN license required by nurse residency start date.
- BLS required.
- Nurse Resident must successfully complete ACLS training prior to independent practice.
Northern Arizona Healthcare provides a hybrid and dynamic learning environment, geared toward all types of learning styles. Methods include synchronous learning through lecture, hands-on skills, return demonstration, clinical application, and asynchronous learning via online modules.
