Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our team at Northern Arizona Healthcare. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare team.

Responsibilities
  • Assist healthcare providers with patient exams, procedures, and treatments.
  • Take vital signs, prepare patients for exams, and maintain accurate medical records.
  • Administer medications, perform venipuncture, and conduct point-of-care testing.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment, adhering to infection control protocols.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a positive work environment.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; medical assistant certification preferred.
  • One year of experience in a healthcare setting; medical assistant experience a plus.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
  • Ability to lift 25 pounds, stand for long periods, and work in a fast-paced environment.
