Job Summary

Volt is seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Technician to join our team in Richmond, IN. As a Quality Assurance Technician, you will be responsible for assisting lab technicians in sample setup, testing raw and finished products, and maintaining lab records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist lab technicians in sample setup, sorting, preparation, and clean-up
  • Test raw, intermediate, and finished products, as well as collect and test environmental samples according to established procedures
  • Complete data entry into the computer system(s) and maintain lab records as directed
  • Wash lab utensils and glassware, and assist with other clean-up activities
  • Assist with calibrating and maintaining laboratory instrumentation as directed
  • Provide general laboratory assistance as needed
  • Maintain safe working conditions for employees and comply with all state and federal regulations regarding health and safety issues
  • Follow all DFA good manufacturing practices (GMP) and work in a manner consistent with all corporate regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • General lab experience preferred
  • Certification and/or License – may be required during course of employment
  • Able to use Microsoft Office Suite and company computer systems
  • Able to follow directions
  • Able to work with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Able to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English

Pay Rate: $18.50/hr

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
