We are in search of a dedicated and empathetic Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to support our San Julian Oasis Recuperative Care Program. In this role, you will be instrumental in providing exceptional patient care and aiding individuals in their journey towards stable housing solutions. Your duties will encompass administering medications, executing treatments, performing nursing evaluations, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure holistic care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide patient care within the defined scope of practice
  • Assist in delivering direct patient care
  • Facilitate patient education and encourage self-management objectives
  • Maintain precise medical documentation and adhere to regulatory standards
  • Work in conjunction with the healthcare team to guarantee outstanding care

Qualifications:

  • Valid California LVN License
  • Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
  • Minimum of one year of experience in an outpatient care environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities
  • Skilled in performing fundamental nursing tasks
  • Capable of operating and maintaining medical apparatus
  • Experience working with diverse populations
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred
