About the Role

Nestlé Purina Pet Care is seeking a highly skilled Business Development Analyst to join our dynamic sales team. As a valued member of our team, you will play a vital role in driving growth within our assigned business unit.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop 4P Purina portfolio recommendations to drive growth within the assigned business unit
  • Provide business overview and analysis to customer teams on progress against market and Joint Business Planning (JBP) objectives
  • Assess competitive market activity and provide analytics around risks/opportunities to the Purina portfolio
  • Partner with Finance to deliver promotional recommendations on the Purina portfolio to maximize market impact
  • Provide data and recommendations around 4P strategy for new distribution (shelf recommendation, promotion strategy, pricing) using market data
  • Provide insights and analytics to support JBP development objectives and initiatives
  • Attend monthly retail team meetings to provide business updates, opportunities, or promotional/product mix improvements and key quarter priorities
  • Provide ad-hoc reporting and communication for retail initiatives
  • Perform omnichannel analysis for the retail customer
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
  • 1+ years of experience in category development, business analytics, sales, or marketing preferred
  • Previous experience working with PetSmart, Petco, Target, Walmart, Kroger is preferred
  • Previous experience with Nielsen/IRI/Power BI, or RSI syndicated data is preferred
  • Must be able to travel up to 15% or as business needs require
