Position Overview:

We are seeking a Credit Support Specialist to enhance our credit operations. The individual will undertake various responsibilities to facilitate the credit functions of the bank.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare credit memorandums, financial assessments, and reports for annual evaluations.
  • Ensure annual updates of financials for credits exceeding $500,000 and manage the database for these evaluations.
  • Maintain the bank's credit documentation.
  • Request appraisals, conduct appraisal assessments, and prepare internal evaluations when external appraisals are unnecessary.
  • Order Phase 1 and Phase 2 environmental assessments as needed.
  • Compile and distribute materials for the Management Loan Committee and Executive Loan Committee meetings.
  • Act as backup for the recording secretary to ensure timely and accurate minutes for committee meetings.
  • Gather necessary maps and information for Commercial Relationship Managers.
  • Conduct monthly inspections of residential construction projects.
  • Prepare reports on criticized loan assets.
  • Distribute materials for Credit Quality meetings.
  • Ensure adherence to State and Federal regulations and laws.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the bank's products and services.

Qualifications:

Required Education, Experience, and Skills:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years of banking experience in a credit department, commercial lending support, loan processing, mortgage processing, or underwriting.
