Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified Clinical Faculty member to join our team in the Department of Otolaryngology at the Medical College of Georgia at Augusta University. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery residents and medical students in the operating room, clinical office, and didactics, including instruction in the Temporal Bone Laboratory.

Responsibilities
  • Teaching: Educate Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery residents and medical students in the operating room, clinical office, and didactics.
  • Clinical/Patient Care: Provide high-quality patient care for Otolaryngology-Otology/Neurotology patients.
  • Scholarship: Conduct research in Otolaryngology-Otology/Neurotology.
  • Other Duties: Share responsibility for call coverage and perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
  • Completed accredited residency program in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck surgery.
  • Completed fellowship training in Otology/Neurotology.
  • Board-certified or board certified eligible in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Fellowship trained in Otolaryngology-Otology/Neurotology Surgery.
  • Ability to travel 1%-24% of the time.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer software/databases.
