The Plumbing Service Technician plays a crucial role in the installation, repair, and upkeep of piping systems, fixtures, and various plumbing components essential for water distribution and waste management. This role will primarily involve fieldwork, with a company-provided take-home vehicle. Our services are predominantly focused on occupied residential properties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems and fixtures.
  • Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine plumbing system layouts, water supply networks, and waste and drainage systems.
  • Plan, install, and service plumbing systems, fixtures, piping equipment, and controls, which may transport water, waste, gases, or hot liquids.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by educating residential clients on recommended plumbing services when potential hazards are identified.
  • Identify necessary tools and specialized equipment
  • Determine the type and size of pipe needed
  • Locate and mark positions for connections and fixtures
  • Install supports and hangers for pipes, fixtures, and equipment
  • Assemble and install valves and fittings
  • Maintain and repair water treatment equipment, piping, and controls
  • Install, repair, and maintain underground storm, sanitary, and water piping systems
  • Install, repair, and maintain sinks, tubs, and toilets
  • Install, repair, and maintain water heaters and conditioners
  • Install, repair, and maintain plumbing fixtures, appliances, and trim
  • Test pipe systems and fixtures for leaks
  • Perform scheduled maintenance on plumbing systems and fixtures
  • Apply all relevant codes to installations, repairs, and maintenance
  • Ensure compliance with manufacturer specifications for systems and fixtures
  • Ensure all installations, repairs, and maintenance are appropriately sized, aligned, supported, and graded
  • Ensure compliance with relevant codes and environmental protection requirements

Experience/Education:
