Maintenance Technician Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at US Tech Solutions, Inc. in a fast-paced warehousing and manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on all equipment within the warehouse facility operations.
  • Troubleshoot and repair shipping equipment and facilities support equipment.
  • Coordinate and implement preventive maintenance schedules for all shipping equipment and facilities support equipment.
  • Maintain and repair lift trucks, straps, tapers, box makers, and conveyors.
  • Perform general housekeeping and maintenance duties, including operating floor scrubbers, painting, and replacing light bulbs.
  • Complete and maintain all necessary documentation, including cGMP documents.
  • Ensure thorough knowledge of occupational hazards and corresponding safety precautions.
  • Perform warehouse duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • 2-4 years of hands-on maintenance experience in a fast-paced warehousing, manufacturing, or packaging environment.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.
  • Ability to install, repair, and maintain mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, plumbing, painting, and other related components of shipping and packaging equipment.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50lbs.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with conveyor mechanics and controls.
  • Experience in a Food Supplement, Food Contact, or Food manufacturing environment.
