Geotechnical Project Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Geotechnical Project Manager to join our team at Jobot. As a Geotechnical Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing geotechnical projects from conception to completion, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage geotechnical projects, including preparing and reviewing geotechnical reports, conducting geotechnical testing, and overseeing the development of geotechnical design plans and specifications.
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure all project requirements are met.
  • Monitor project progress, identifying and resolving any issues that arise.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and advancements in geotechnical engineering.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in geotechnical project management, preferably in the construction industry.
  • Proven experience in preparing and reviewing geotechnical reports.
  • Extensive knowledge of geotechnical testing techniques, including soil and rock testing.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with clients, contractors, and team members.
