Pet Sitter and Dog Walker Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Pet Sitter and Dog Walker to join our team at Paws & Claws Pet Sitting and Dog Walking Services. As a Pet Sitter and Dog Walker, you will be responsible for providing top-notch care and companionship to our furry clients while their owners are away.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Walking dogs for 30 minutes at a time
  • Providing feeding, grooming, and enrichment activities for pets
  • Administering medication as needed
  • Providing cuddles and playtime for pets
  • Taking adorable pictures of pets and sending visit reports to clients

Requirements:

  • Physical ability to sit, walk dogs, climb stairs, bend down, kneel, and lift up to 50 pounds
  • Reliable registered/fully insured vehicle and valid Driver's License
  • Smartphone with photo/video/GPS capability
  • Availability to work 10-20 hours per week, with potential for more
  • Availability to work year-round, with no seasonal restrictions
  • Comfortable walking dogs in all types of weather
  • Must adore animals and be comfortable caring for both cats and dogs
  • Must be able to pass a background check
