Position Overview

Role Summary:

  • Seeking a dedicated neighborhood dog walker and pet sitter.
  • Opportunity to engage in group dog walking on scenic trails, providing additional earning potential.
  • Initial commitment of 10-20 hours per week, with the possibility of increased hours as you demonstrate your skills and dedication.

Work Schedule:

  • Primary dog walking hours are weekdays from 9 AM to 2 PM.
  • Pet sitting typically occurs in the mornings and evenings.
  • Preference for candidates available to work 2-3 weekends each month.
  • Shifts range from 2 to 6 hours, adjusted according to client needs and staffing availability.
  • Operating hours are from 7 AM to 6 PM.

Compensation Package:

Hourly rate ranges from $20 to $25, with $20 per hour starting pay before bonuses and gratuities, increasing to $25 per hour on weekends.

Monthly earnings can vary between $800 and $2000.

  • Paid training at $17 per hour, typically lasting four weeks.
  • Eligible for a $16 split-shift bonus when scheduled for split shifts.
  • Holiday pay at $25 per hour plus an additional $5 per visit.
  • Remote training opportunities available, including videos, tutorials, and quizzes.
  • Client gratuities and mileage reimbursements at $0.65 per mile.
  • Monthly cell phone stipend of $25.
