About the Role

This is a high-profile position within our Consumer Products division, reporting directly to the Executive VP of CP Sales and the Director of Marketing. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for managing accounting and finance functions to provide timely and accurate financial insights.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Pricing Strategy: Oversee monthly pricing initiatives by analyzing cost changes and coordinating with internal teams to ensure accurate pricing communication with customers.
  • Conduct Margin Analysis: Perform monthly margin analyses by product and customer, focusing on variances from budget and forecasts. Generate reports on production volumes, customer profitability, and monitor key cost metrics.
  • Manage Budgeting and Forecasting: Lead budgeting processes, collaborating with sales to establish SKU and plant budgets. Prepare presentations and reports comparing budgeted and actual results.
  • Analyze Business Opportunities: Evaluate new business ventures, customer proposals, and potential co-packing agreements to align with organizational goals.
Requirements
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and ERP accounting software (SAP preferred).
  • Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven leadership ability and a proactive, organized approach.
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance preferred.
  • At least 10 years of experience in a manufacturing or corporate environment.
  • Experience in process manufacturing and standard costing methodologies is essential.
