This role involves assisting in the service of our growing client base, providing operational support to the Financial Advisor and Director of Investments, and assisting clients with financial planning needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Executing operational tasks at the request of the financial advisor and/or clients, including cash management, document delivery, and account updates.
  • Onboarding new clients from inception to execution of their financial goals and building a solid rapport with clients.
  • Preparing financial plans, spreadsheets, portfolio goal modifications, and other materials for client meetings.
  • Analyzing current revenue streams and identifying new opportunities for growth.
  • Working with the Director of Investments to learn about the asset management side of our practice and assisting with client portfolio reallocations and report generation.
  • Utilizing financial planning software to aggregate client accounts, set up client websites, gather and input data, and prepare financial plans for clients.
  • Sitting in on client calls with the financial advisor and assisting with revisions to ensure quality, commitment, and execution of clients' financial goals.
  • Regularly seeking opportunities to learn and grow with BluePoint Financial.

Requirements:

  • A commitment to excellent service and organization.
  • A desire to learn the financial services industry and be part of a growing organization.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with a CRM platform and e-filing systems.
  • Competency in Microsoft Office 365.
  • Basic knowledge of retirement planning and tax implications.
  • A Bachelor's degree.
  • Maryland Life and Health Insurance License, FINRA Series 7 and 66 licenses, or Series 7, 63, and 65 licenses (if not currently held, must be obtained within the first year of employment).
