Industrial Maintenance Technician

Key Responsibilities:

Perform predictive/preventive/corrective maintenance on shop machinery and mechanical equipment, including overhead cranes, shears, benders, threaders, forges, induction heaters, and welders.

Effectively monitor and inspect equipment for defects, and maintain good general housekeeping, keeping clean equipment and work area.

Train machine operators on proper equipment use and mentor and train other maintenance team members.

Project planning including estimating man hours and job completion hours, and purchase supplies and parts for repair, track purchase requisitions when necessary.

Experienced with industrial electrical repairs, including troubleshooting and repair of electrical valves and switches, A/C - D/C drives and motors, PLC's and 480 Volt 3 phase electrical.

Knowledge with servicing and repairing industrial equipment, and possess specific knowledge of both hydraulic and electrical systems and equipment.

Follow OSHA, EPA, and company safety policies, rules, and regulations, and able to work overtime as business requires.

Requirements:

Minimum 6 years preferably in a heavy industrial environment.

Possess welding skills and ability to read technical documents and service manuals.

Must be able to write job instructional training documents and communicate effectively with team members.
