Electrical Maintenance Technician Required

Overview:

Stand-By Personnel is seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our team. As an Electrical Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our industrial plant by performing maintenance activities on equipment and machinery.

Responsibilities:

  • Equipment Maintenance: Repair and maintain overhead bridge cranes, jib cranes, and other machinery to ensure efficient operation.
  • Diagnosis and Repair: Diagnose issues with equipment and provide recommendations for repairs, ensuring minimal downtime.
  • Conveyor Systems: Conduct repairs on motors, pneumatic tools, and conveyor systems, including monthly inspections and replacement parts.
  • Mechanical Devices: Observe mechanical devices in operation, listen for trouble signs, and perform repairs as needed.
  • Inspections and Coordination: Coordinate monthly inspections with department managers, examine parts for imperfections, and repair or replace as necessary.
  • Cleaning and Lubrication: Lubricate and clean equipment components, and start devices to test their performance post-repair.
  • Pipe Systems and Hydraulic Equipment: Layout, install, and maintain pipe systems, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, and replace gauges, valves, and pressure regulators.
  • Automated Machinery: Install, program, or repair automated machinery and equipment, including robots or programmable controllers.
  • Metal Fabrication: Operate cutting torches or welding equipment to cut or join metal parts.
  • Multi-Tasking: Perform multiple tasks concurrently, working effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:

  • Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
  • Certification: Master electrical certification preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical maintenance.
  • Collaboration: Strong ability to interchange tasks with others in the department.

Estimated Salary: $25/hour (DOE) for this position, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Located in Catoosa, Oklahoma.
