Job Summary

We're seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our team. As an Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for assisting the Management Team in ensuring the smooth operation of the restaurant, providing exceptional guest service, and leading a team of Team Members to achieve sales and profitability goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Management Team in managing the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, including inventory management, labor scheduling, and cash handling.
  • Provide exceptional guest service by ensuring that all guests have a positive experience, resolving any issues that may arise, and promoting our menu items and promotions.
  • Lead a team of Team Members to achieve sales and profitability goals, including developing and implementing sales strategies, managing inventory, and controlling labor costs.
  • Ensure that all food safety and sanitation standards are met, and that the restaurant is maintained in a clean and safe environment.
  • Assist with training and development of Team Members, including providing feedback and coaching to improve performance.
  • Monitor and control costs, including inventory, labor, and supplies, to ensure that the restaurant is operating within budget.
  • Assist with marketing and promotional efforts, including developing and implementing marketing campaigns and promoting our menu items and promotions.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of restaurant management experience, including full-service, fast-food, or convenience store management.
  • Required state alcohol-server and Manager food certifications.
  • Ability to work a minimum of 35 hours per week and work flexible hours to manage and operate the restaurant effectively.
  • Open to varied work schedules and hours depending on business needs.
  • Competency of basic computer functions.
  • An understanding of training and development concepts.
  • Ability to foster teamwork.
  • Bilingual proficiency desired.
  • Must be able to lift, push, pull, or carry heavy objects up to 40 pounds.
  • Must be able to stand for several hours and walk for long periods of time.
  • Must be able to bend, stretch, twist, or reach for objects on shelves at various height levels.
