Business Operations Manager for Ambulatory Surgery Center

Job Summary

As the Business Office Manager for our Ambulatory Surgery Center, you will be responsible for the daily business operations, including financial transactions, budget development, and personnel management. You will work closely with the Dell Medical School Finance and Revenue Cycle team to manage accounts payable, receivable, and month-end tasks. Additionally, you will collaborate with the UT Health Austin Medical Staff Office and Administrative Director on credentialing, policies, and procedures. Your role will also involve conducting monthly meetings with ASC Leadership to review business office policy and procedure changes, financial metrics, and front-office patient issues. You will ensure correct billing procedures are followed for facility and provider fees and assist with documenting and monitoring internal controls. This is a key leadership role that requires strong business acumen, financial management skills, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities

Manage daily business operations, including financial transactions and budget development
