Clinical Placement Coordinator Job Description

Clover Park Technical College is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Placement Coordinator to join our team. As a Clinical Placement Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating clinical placements for nursing students, ensuring that they receive high-quality learning experiences in a variety of healthcare settings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and maintain relationships with healthcare facilities and agencies to secure clinical placements for nursing students.
  • Coordinate the logistics of clinical placements, including scheduling, transportation, and accommodations.
  • Ensure that all necessary paperwork and documentation is completed and submitted in a timely manner.
  • Communicate effectively with nursing students, faculty, and healthcare professionals to ensure a smooth clinical placement process.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of clinical placements, making recommendations for improvement as needed.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as nursing, education, or healthcare administration.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a clinical or educational setting, preferably in a nursing program.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications, including electronic health records.
