Environmental Field Technician

MSE Environmental is a leading environmental consulting firm seeking a highly skilled Environmental Field Technician/Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting field and office tasks in support of various environmental projects, including mold, asbestos, legionella, water damage consulting, lead consulting, indoor air quality assessment, and site characterization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct microbial, lead, asbestos, soot, water sampling, legionella, water damage consulting, and industrial hygiene inspection and sampling
- Conduct asbestos surveys and lead paint inspections
- Develop and implement asbestos management plans
- Prepare inspection reports based on findings
- Travel to job sites daily and perform work with minimal supervision
- Perform various duties, including administrative tasks, errands, and field tech support
Requirements:
- OSHA Hazwoper certificate and NIOSH 582 certification
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe Illustrator
- Ability to properly wear and use personal respirator equipment and other forms of personal protective equipment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
