Key Responsibilities

  • Security Program Management: Develop and implement global and site-specific security procedures, checklists, process controls, and practices for sensitive compartmented information (SCI).
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Monitor sensitive aspects of the Department of Defense (DOD) or other industrial security program, ensuring compliance with government and company security policies and procedures.
  • Security Briefings and Education: Conduct security briefings and security education programs to ensure personnel are aware of security procedures and protocols.
  • Investigations and Corrective Action: Investigate or oversee the investigation of losses and security violations, and recommend corrective action to prevent future incidents.
  • Inventory Management: Update inventories of SCI materials and ensure accurate tracking and reporting.
  • Interface with Government Agencies: Interface with the Government Special Security Office (SSO) for approved/certified processes and periodic security inspections.
  • Personnel Security Clearance: Process personnel security clearance submissions and supporting documentation through the SCI screening process.
  • Physical Security: Assist in the management of the physical security of operating facilities, equipment, and documentation.
  • Deployments and Contingency Support: Be available to deploy to other countries and/or theaters to perform quick reaction technical support to US forces worldwide military contingency missions and requirements in potentially hazardous work environments.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent and seven-nine years of related experience.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Knowledgeable in DOD or other industrial security program and in-depth knowledge of the DOD or other government security regulatory manuals. Ability to instruct others in security procedures, requirements, protocols, and operations.
  • Certifications and Clearances: US Citizenship, Top Secret (TS) security clearance with Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) with eligibility for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI). Some positions or assignments may require a Counterintelligence (CI) Scope Polygraph, especially those requiring access to TDN2.
