Job Description:

This role is a key position in our organization, responsible for leading and managing product development activities.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Product Launch Management: Ensure that all products are launched on time and within budget, adhering to the New Product Review process.
  • Budget Management: Maintain budgets within guidelines for Tooling Manufacturing Order (TMO) and establish cash flow.
  • Quality Management: Work with customers to meet quality management system requirements and perform procurement functions.
  • Process Development: Develop die cast, M&A, and material flow processes, participate in testing matrix creation, and handle post-launch activities.
  • Design Efforts: Lead design efforts for products, components, and tooling, participate in design reviews, and assess manufacturability and risk.
  • Change Management: Manage customer-driven and internal product changes, assess impacts on product shape, manufacturability, and financials.
  • Collaboration: Participate in lean manufacturing initiatives, continuous improvement meetings, quality audits, and customer complaint reviews.

Requirements:

  • Degree: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of engineering experience, with 10+ years of progressive work experience in Engineering in a manufacturing environment.
  • Skills: Proficient skills in MS Word and Excel, CAD, PQ2, GD & T, and 5s and visual factory concepts, solid knowledge in gating, runner design, and statistical process control.

Estimated Salary: $90,000 - $110,000 per annum.
