Position Title: Senior Electrical Automation Specialist

Department: Reagents/BD Diagnostics - Women's Health and Cancer

Key Responsibilities

The Senior Electrical Automation Specialist is crucial in advancing the plant's goals through effective production support and project management.

Core Duties Include:

  • Expertise in manufacturing machinery such as filling, packaging, and sterilization systems.
  • Process control experience, including batch processing, SCADA, and MES systems.
  • Proficient in PLC and HMI programming.
  • Hands-on troubleshooting capabilities and schematic interpretation.
  • Familiarity with Keyence and Cognex vision technologies.
  • Experience in control system design involving servos and variable frequency drives (VFDs).
  • Knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems, along with troubleshooting manufacturing challenges.
  • Understanding of statistical methods in manufacturing and experimental design.
  • Proficient in implementing BD processes and executing Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
  • Skilled in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) and technical documentation.
  • Advanced software skills related to PLC diagnostics and programming.

Essential Skills

  • Strong organizational and prioritization abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage change and collaborate with stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with FDA regulations and ISO standards.

Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related discipline, accompanied by a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
