Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Endovascular Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Houston Methodist. As a key member of our Endovascular Laboratory, you will be responsible for performing complex imaging procedures, assisting physicians with therapeutic procedures, and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform highly specialized radiological procedures involving complex imaging equipment and techniques to produce quality images for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes.
  • Assist physicians with therapeutic procedures, including vascular, neurological, spinal, and multi-organ interventions.
  • Provide exceptional patient care, ensuring the physical and emotional needs of patients are met.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and safety.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an education program approved by the credentialing body for the required credential(s).
  • At least 4 years of experience as an Endovascular Radiologic Technologist.
  • Prior experience in a lead role or HM experience and performance demonstrating leadership abilities.
  • ARRT-R - Radiologic Technologist - Radiographer (ARRT) and CMRT - Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist - State Licensure - Registration as a Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT-GC) or CMRT-Temp - Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist - Temporary State Licensure.
  • BLS - Basic Life Support (AHA) and ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support (AHA) certifications preferred.
Working Conditions

This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent exposure to radiation and potentially hazardous materials. The successful candidate must be able to lift, push, and pull equipment and supplies as needed.
