Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Radiologic Technologist Lead to join our team at Houston Methodist. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for leading a team of radiologic technologists and ensuring the delivery of exceptional patient care and adherence to practice standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of radiologic technologists, providing guidance and support to ensure optimal patient safety and quality outcomes.
  • Develop and implement quality improvement activities, including quality assurance audits and data analysis.
  • Train, mentor, and develop staff, providing feedback on performance and development needs.
  • Collaborate with management and physicians to resolve routine matters and ensure seamless communication.
  • Perform diagnostic radiology procedures, including X-Ray exams and fluoroscopy procedures, with a focus on achieving high-quality imaging results.
Requirements
  • Four years of experience as a radiologic technologist, with leadership experience preferred.
  • ARRT-R certification and state licensure as a radiologic technologist.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, physicians, and staff.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on delivering exceptional patient care and customer service.
