About the Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Provider Clinical Department Manager to join our team at OU Health. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our advanced practice provider department, ensuring that we deliver high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operations of our advanced practice provider department, ensuring that we deliver high-quality patient care.
- Collaborate with department leaders to develop and implement strategies for improving patient outcomes and advancing the practice of advanced practice providers.
- Provide education and training to advanced practice providers on clinical issues, policy development, and regulatory compliance.
- Maintain accurate records of patient care and outcomes, using data to inform decisions and drive quality improvement initiatives.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
Requirements
- A master's degree in nursing or a related field, with a focus on advanced practice nursing.
- At least 1-3 years of experience in a leadership role, with a proven track record of success in improving patient outcomes and advancing the practice of advanced practice providers.
- Current licensure as an APRN or PA, with board certification in a relevant specialty.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- The ability to think critically and solve complex problems, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
