Surgical Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Surgical Technologist to join our team at Good Samaritan. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our operating rooms and providing exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with the healthcare team to prepare the operating room, adhering to principles of sterile technique to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Analyze collected data to formulate a plan of care that contributes to high-quality and safe outcomes.
- Assist the healthcare team in managing inventory, equipment, and instruments to ensure departmental efficiency.
- Communicate effectively with the healthcare team to identify and address any issues that may impact patient care.
- Contribute to a high-performance work environment by seeking educational resources to enhance and maintain current knowledge and skills.
- Graduate of an accredited surgical technician program.
- Certification in Surgical Technology is preferred, but not required. Candidates must demonstrate competence as described in Indiana Code concerning professions and occupations.
- Previous hospital or healthcare experience, clinical experience is preferred.
