Ultrasound Technologist Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our team at Northwest Health Starke. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing high-quality ultrasound exams and providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate ultrasound equipment to capture high-quality images and videos
  • Prepare patients for exams, including explaining procedures and positioning them correctly
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses
  • Maintain accurate records and reports of patient exams
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest ultrasound technology and techniques
Requirements:
  • American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (RDMS) or American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Sonography R.T.(S)(ARRT) certification
  • ARDMS (RDMS), post-primary sonography certification may include but not limited to Abdomen, Breast, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Pediatric Sonography
  • Licensed by the State of Indiana as Radiologic Technologist required if holding R.T.(R)(ARRT)
  • BLS certification
