We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Surgical Technologist to join our team at Good Samaritan. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our operating rooms.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with the healthcare team to prepare the operating room, adhering to principles of sterile technique to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Analyze collected data to formulate a plan of care that contributes to high-quality and safe outcomes.
- Assist the healthcare team in managing supplies and equipment to ensure departmental efficiency.
- Communicate effectively with the healthcare team to identify and address inventory, equipment, or instrument needs.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest knowledge and skills by seeking educational resources.
- Graduate of an accredited surgical technician program.
- Certification in Surgical Technology is preferred, but not required. Demonstrated competence as described in Indiana Code concerning professions and occupations is acceptable.
- Previous hospital or healthcare experience, with clinical experience preferred.
