As an Administrative Specialist at Terminix Triad, you will provide advanced clerical, customer service, and computer support and troubleshooting functions for the Northeast Greensboro branch.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Provide general clerical assistance to the branch manager and team.
- Answer calls and ensure customers, vendors, and employees are handled in a professional and courteous manner.
- Schedule work by determining customer needs and schedule availability.
- Communicate information to other branches as needed.
- Prepare reports, compose letters, and routine correspondence.
- Research information.
- Order supplies.
- Operate and maintain a variety of office equipment.
- Responsible for oversight of vehicle maintenance (ie. tags, taxes, scheduling service).
- May act as a project manager on special nonrecurring and ongoing projects.
- May coordinate calendars, schedules, meetings, and training.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A 2-year degree in business or a related field (preferred but not required).
- Two-three years of related administrative experience with some knowledge of customer services and service-related work (strongly preferred).
You will need to possess:
- Professional appearance and phone skills.
- The ability to function independently in a multi-tasking environment.
- Proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
- Comfortable communicating with all levels of management and employees.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent inter-personal and customer service skills.
- Strong planning and organizational skills.
