We are seeking a dedicated professional who can operate with minimal oversight, possesses a strong understanding of public accounting practices, and is adept at preparing and analyzing financial reports while managing a diverse client portfolio across various sectors.

Qualifications:

  • 3 - 5 years of experience in Public Accounting is essential
  • 3 - 5 years of recent experience in tax return preparation is required
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is mandatory
  • CPA candidacy is advantageous but not obligatory
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks and QBO is necessary
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong organizational and communication skills; attention to detail is crucial
  • Experience with MS Excel and Word is required

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct monthly reconciliations for bank and credit card transactions
  • Prepare and review accounting documentation and financial statements
  • Manage payroll processing, including related tax obligations, and file quarterly and annual payroll tax returns
  • Prepare sales tax returns for multiple jurisdictions
  • Compile individual and business tax returns
  • Oversee multiple clients and provide support to bookkeepers with inquiries and guidance
