Job Description

The primary objective of this role is to provide comprehensive support for tax filings in our global markets, focusing on the US markets initially, for our Stock Plan/Retirements business under Shareworks by Brokerage.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Verify the accuracy of 1099/1042S reporting
  • Update Excel files for accurate reporting values
  • Ensure participant data is accurate and up-to-date
  • Obtain necessary approvals, document, and confirm successful submissions per jurisdiction
  • Ensure timely and accurate tax filings and reporting for Corporate Clients and Shareworks by Brokerage
  • Review IRS filings and State filings for accuracy
  • Contribute to the annual tax production project plan to ensure all relevant tasks are captured throughout the year
  • Perform testing on tax forms issued from Shareworks to ensure accuracy through preliminary reviews
  • Manage special handling requirements for clients, including tax form amendments
  • Audit tax form generation to ensure all forms for all clients have been completed
  • Provide project updates to the Tax Manager as required to ensure the success of tax activities
  • Update processes and procedures policy portal as required
