The ideal candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of Windows-based systems. They will collaborate with other IT professionals to ensure smooth and efficient operation of our organization's infrastructure. The Windows Infrastructure Engineer will play a key role in deploying, managing, and troubleshooting Windows servers, ensuring high availability and performance.Key Responsibilities Manage and administer Windows-based servers and systems, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, PKI, Intune, SCCM, and Group Policy.Experience in managing and administering Microsoft Security products (Defender)Install, configure, and maintain Windows server operating systems and applications.Treat infrastructure as code using Ansible and PowerShell.Develop automation scripts and tools to streamline deployment, configuration, and management processes.Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.Implement security measures to safeguard systems against unauthorized access and data breaches.Collaborate with other IT team members to plan and implement infrastructure projects, upgrades, and migrations.Maintain documentation of system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.Participate in L3 production support and incident response for our team's globally deployed, 7x24 environments.Stay current with industry trends and best practices in Windows system administration.Typical Education  Bachelor's Degree (B.A. or B.S.) from 4 year college or university is preferred.Relevant Experience    4+ years related experience and/or trainingStrong Windows Server administration skills.Afocus on security and management at scale.Solid scripting skills.Disciplined version control, build, test and release skills.The inclination to continuously learn and to evolve your technical skills.The willingness to teach and to mentor.Excellent communication and business engagement skills.A collaborative, team focus and a passion for people.The desire to work on truly challenging, global-scale problemsJob Requisition ID:20227Travel Required:Less than 10%Location(s):Simplot Headquarters - BoiseCountry:United States**The J.R.
