Job Description Customer Quality Specialist - Quincy, ILJob SummaryThe Customer Quality Specialist will act as the liaison between ADM and customers on all standard documentation requests for quality and food safety related matters.
The Customer Quality Specialist is an entry-level role within the Customer Quality Team.
This role will be introduced to quality-based support for the ADM commercial, sales, customer service and production teams.
The Customer Quality Specialists will support the Customer Quality Representatives.
Role responsibilities will increase in complexity as knowledge and understanding are gained at product and service levels.
This position reports to the Customer Quality Manager.Job DescriptionAssist with management of customer requests and complaintsLiaise with internal and external customersSupport Customer Quality Representative to define, develop and implement processes for continuous improvementSet up individual complaint folders in plant foldersPrepare credit requests and releasesSend releases to sales rep for customers signaturePrepare credit requests for approvalObtain needed signatures and approvals to process credit requestsClose out complaints on portalEnsure that complaints are closed out consistently and all required fields are completedEnsure complaint program is being followed as outlinedLiaise between customers & manufacturing sites, warehouses & internal depts related to quality processes & requestsManage requests via Salesforce queue and assist with request entry, as neededMaintain an "action item" list (pending questionnaires, etc.)Respond to customer requests for standard documentationManage customer NDAs as neededOther duties as assigned or neededMinimum RequirementsAssociate degree or quality/technical related equivalent experienceStrong organizational skills, including excellent written and verbalStrong Communication SkillsCapability to understand technical terminology and perform basic troubleshootingHigh regard for accuracy, attention to detail and prioritizationMust be able to navigate Oracle, Excel, Access, SalesforceExcited about this role but don't meet every requirement listed?
