Fun Served Here .We are currently seeking a DOCUMENT CONTROL SPECIALIST in our Pennsauken, NJ location.SummaryThe Document Control Specialist will provide quality leadership to the plant to ensure the manufacturing process and finished products comply with GMPs and all applicable government, customer, and company expectations for quality and safety. The document controller would be responsible to keep all the quality documents up to date for government and 3rd party audits. Must be a team player and be able to interact with staff at all levels of the company.ResponsibilitiesResponsible for daily review of all HACCP and CCP monitoring records.Responsible for maintaining all SQF registers.Responsible for document control. Updating SOP and FSQA policies.Responsible for updating ingredient specifications and master ingredients files.Trains new QA Technicians on monitoring and documentation procedures and assists QA Technicians.Function as an information source to QA and other departments.Assist in development of special department projects and works in conjunction with Production Manager and FSQA Manager.Responsible for receiving, reviewing, filing and maintaining all raw material COA s.Other duties assigned by FSQA Manager.Knowledge/Experience/SkillsAssociate Degree in Chemistry, Biology, Microbiology or Food Science or related experience (preferred)1-3 years
experience in laboratory or food manufacturing quality control (preferred)OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIESAbility to read and follow written procedures. Ability to grasp abstract concepts quickly. Able to perform duties in an organized, orderly, and timely manner. Recordkeeping. Understands and follows plant safety rules. Understands and follows existing personal hygiene requirements associated with maintaining sterile conditions. Work with limited supervision.
