We are looking for a dedicated Nuclear Medicine Technologist Part Time like you to be a part of our team.Job Summary and QualificationsProvides care for patients requiring Nuclear Cardiology procedures. Performs all duties directly involved with procedures utilizing radioactive isotopes for diagnostic purposes in accordance with ALARA standards. Operates equipment utilized to measure radiation, produce images, quantify physiologic responses, and relay images and measurements to the physician for interpretation. Employs practices and techniques to ensure the safe handling of radioactive materials, especially when dosing patients with radiopharmaceuticals as prescribed and authorized by the responsible licensed physician. What qualifications you will need:Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start dateACLS- Advanced Cardiac Life Support CertificationState of Florida Registered as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist Graduate from an accredited Nuclear Medicine program1 year of related experience preferredRegistered Radiographer (ARRT) (N), or Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTCB)HCA Florida North Florida Hospital is a 523-bed, full-service medical and surgical acute care center.
