About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at Northeast Georgia Health System, Inc. As a key member of our imaging department, you will be responsible for performing a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgment and ingenuity in utilizing radionuclides for diagnosis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate radiographic equipment according to equipment specifications, adhering to infection control and safety practices.
  • Perform quality Nuclear Medicine procedures, including scintigrams, and maintain patient records according to department, state, and federal procedures.
  • Assess patients according to exam ordered, with appropriate documentation, and provide patient prep for procedures, including patient education.
  • Consent patients for procedures and initiate INT access, place EKG leads for exams, and accurately record patient information in EMR.
  • Meet productivity standards regarding wait times and turnaround times for patients.
Requirements
  • Current ARRT or NMTCB licensure, with registry eligibility within 12 months from date of hire.
  • Associates Degree or equivalent, with a graduate degree from an accredited ARRT or NMTCB program.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to work effectively with others.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Preferred licensure or certifications, educational requirements, and experience.
