Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at NGMC Gainesville. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to nuclear medicine procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain nuclear medicine equipment, including SPECT/CT scanners.
  • Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients.
  • Collect and process imaging data.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in nuclear medicine and PET.
  • Registration in NMTCB, CMNT, or ARRT Nuc Med.
  • Strong understanding of nuclear medicine principles and procedures.
Work Schedule

This is a 13-week contract position with a Monday-Friday schedule. Shifts will be from 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM and 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM, with no call requirements.

Unit Specific Information

This position will be working with state-of-the-art equipment, including 2 GE Infinia SPECT/CT scanners and a GE 850 SPECT/CT scanner.
