Purely Driven.Position SummaryOur manufacturing facility in Miami, Oklahoma, stands as a testament to the pet care industry's excellence. Nestled along the Historic Route 66 in northeast Oklahoma, near the borders of Kansas and Missouri, this facility has been producing a wide array of pet treat products and brands since its inception in 1997. With an unwavering commitment to quality and safety, our factory plays a pivotal role in serving a vast region as we drive the future of pet treat innovation. Join us in Miami, where together, we are expanding our capabilities to shape the future of pet care.Within the production environment at our Nestle Purina Miami, OK facility, you will work as a Packing Operator to support production. Since safety is a top priority at Purina, much of your responsibility will focus on ensuring that our equipment and machinery remain in top-notch condition. Your ability to acclimate and problem solve quickly will be critically important as unforeseen equipment issues may arise throughout the normal operation day. bettering the lives of pets everywhere.As part of our production team, you will enjoy bi-weekly pay, quarterly bonuses, eligibility for overtime pay, full health benefits, 401K match, paid time off and much more.The shift is 7:00AM-7:30PM on a 2-2-3 schedule(2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on).Must be open and available to work nights and/or weekends depending on position specified.Plan, assemble, fabricate or repair crates, boxes, cartons and other packaging containers of large or unusual size or shape.Prepare finished products for shipment or storage by placing them in proper shipping containers.Safely operates production and processing equipment.Perform quality checks and meet product specifications.Maintain a safe and clean workplace.Perform sanitation duties and material handling.Safely and efficiently operate, troubleshoot, and make minor repairs on operating equipment using lock out procedures, as prescribed.Utilize computer technology and basic math skills to effectively perform job requirements.Occasionally will work at high heights within plant to fulfill job responsibilities.Work in facility environment that is not climate controlled.All other duties as assigned.RequirementsHigh School Diploma or GED1+ year of experience in a manufacturing, production, warehouse, military or related environmentThe approximate hourly pay for this position is $20.33. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting.
